Aluminium also passes through the skin . . . . . . and crosses the placenta
One of the most contentious water additives is Aluminium Sulphate, used to clarify drinking water. Aluminium, which is known to cause brain damage, is a prime suspect in many other health problems. Scientists are particularly concerned about the toxic interaction between Aluminium and Fluoride.

November, 2000: GOVERNMENT MINISTER MISINTERPRETS THE 'YORK REVIEW' ON
WATER FLUORIDATION
UK REVIEW SYNOPSIS:
This item is from PARENTS OF FLUORIDE POISONED CHILDREN, whose
heroic efforts to force York to conduct a proper review exposed
its grossly unscientific criteria.

Tell him/her that the Government's White Paper on Health said
that the review would examine the effects of fluoride on HEALTH.
This would have taken account of the World Health Organisation's
warning in 1994: Dental and public health administrators
should be aware of the total fluoride exposure in the population
before introducing any additional fluoride programme for caries
prevention. The York review took NO account of this.
But more important is the RIGHT of every individual TO CHOOSE
or REFUSE any medical treatment. The Conventions
on Human Rights and Biomedicine are very clear on this.
Elected representatives have a duty to uphold the rights of
the electors.
Please inform your elected representatives that you withhold
your consent to water fluoridation. Thank you

OF CONTENTS
The
York Review The government commissioned an "expert, independent
systematic review" of the effects of fluoride. The review's
inclusion criteria were so narrow that most papers reporting
adverse effects were left out. As such papers were brought to
the review panel's attention, the criteria were narrowed still
further to exclude them. Flawed studies purporting to show
benefit were included.
Your
Child's Vulnerability to Toxic Substances in the Environment If you thought that fluoride could only be ingested through
the mouth, and that if you avoided drinking fluoridated water,
you were safe, think again! Research shows that fluoride is
absorbed much more through the skin while bathing and from
clothes washed in fluoridated water. Here is the proof. -- And the York Review has not even considered it.
