Dobson's fluoride review said to have 'potential for criminal behaviour'
Frank Dobson (former Health Secretary) ignored our call for a public inquiry
which would have examined the science and the legal and constitutional
implications of fluoridation. Instead, he commissioned "a once-and-for-all . .
. unchallengeable . . . independent systematic review" of the science alone.
This is funded by the Dept. of Health and being carried out by the NHS Centre
for Reviews and Dissemination at York University. If the NHS CRD reports that
water fluoridation is safe and effective, the Government will "legally oblige"
water companies to fluoridate when requested.
Fluoride is a cumulative, protoplasmic poison. We excrete about half of the
fluoride we ingest. The rest is stored in the body. The protocol for the review
excludes:
all animal studies,
all biochemistry,
all mathematical models;
it also excludes all studies on the effects of fluoride from any source other
than water fluoridation.
An exchange of emails between Andreas Schuld, Head of
Parents of Fluoride Poisoned Children
and the NHS CRD at York took place in September.
Mr Schuld submitted more than 100 scientific references
specifically on the effects of fluoride on the THYROID GLAND.
This resulted in a further narrowing of the already-narrow criteria and the
exclusion of his references.
Mr Schuld wrote several times to every member of the review team, finally
informing them that all the correspondence between himself and the NHS CRD
would be posted on his website so that people around the world can see how this
UK review is being conducted. The correspondence can be accessed on
The Final Report of the Review is due in February. If this indicates that water
fluoridation is safe and effective we will declare it to be a gross abuse of
science, an affront to Parliament and the people and a serious misuse of public
funds.
